Custom "Fastener Free" Cowl

 

N19EW uses the "RV-style" piano hinge to fasten the top and bottom cowl.  This allows the cowl to be removed quickly, with just a few camlocks/screws, faciliating (and encouraging) frequent inspection of the engine and systems.

It also provides a smooth, clean look to the cowl.

In addition, the traditional boot cowl has been minimized (replaced with HD fabric) to minimize weight and the typical warping that can happen where it attaches to the door sil.
